  1. Thomas Hawk,

I enjoyed viewing your photographs. I like the night shots that have a lot of colored lights… especially those that show movement.

I like to think that by using shutter speed a photagrapher can tell a story. In 1/30th its merely suggested motion — whereas 1/125 is a frozen moment in time.

  2. Your photos are truly amazing. I enjoyed looking at your blog, and hope to see more. (I’ve bookmarked your page)

  3. Wonderful photos. I especially enjoyed the ones from Italy. I’ve bookmarked your page, and will return often.

  4. Thomas,

You should make a Desktop Wallpaper section on your site. I like the pictures, but they aren’t large enough for wallpaper use.

    Just a suggestion!

  5. Hi Neville,

If you click on any photo it should expand to a high res version. From there you can right click and save as. These make for pretty good high res wallpaper.

If there is a particular photo that you’d like even larger feel free to email me and I’d be happy to send the original image (very large) via email.

    Tom

  6. I just stumbled upon your site, and I must say that I really do like your pictures. I was wondering, however, what you use to shoot your pictures, and if the shots posted have been digitally edited in any way. Once again, great pics!

  7. Mr. Hawk,

Thanks so much for what you do, you give me hope that I will return to San Francisco. You embellish upon my fond memories of the city from a short stay a few years ago.

Thanks again, and keep it up.

Photography is always an art, and this collection can boast the crisp reality of day.
