very good stuff thomas! as a noob photog, how are you getting the visual fisheye effect it seems without a fisheye lense?
Tim, that’s more just the scene than anything. I’ve found a tad fisheye type distortion with the 24 but really only at the extreme edges of a shot. In this case I think the distinctiveness of the lit buildings on the side and the very slight distortion combined with the dark setting and the prominence of the park produce more of an optical illusion than anything which might resemeble a fisheye sort of effect to some.
Would you set your camera with the same settings as you would with a tele lens when you’re using a wide angle or do the settings change to accommodate taking in more light? Curious minds wanna know…
