Mark Cuban for President

Mark Cuban to finance Grokster defense | CNET I’m increasingly impressed with the good ways that Mark Cuban puts his significant wealth to work.

Cuban’s latest benevolent act is that he is financing Grokster’s defense against MGM’s peer-to-peer lawsuit.

Cuban blogs about his reasoning as a content owner to help represent Grokster, “It wont be a good day when high school entrepreneurs have to get a fairness opinion from a technology oriented law firm to confirm that big music or movie studios wont sue you because they can come up with an angle that makes a judge believe the technology might impact the music business. It will be a sad day when American corporations start to hold their US digital innovations and inventions overseas to protect them from the RIAA, moving important jobs overseas with them.”

Right on, Mark!

It may be early, but hopefully I’ll get an opportunity to vote for this man for president someday.

Great work and thanks.
