Fuji FinePix F50 SE, A Powerful Point-And-Shoot Camera | Laughing Squid My friend Scott Beale over at The Laughing Squid has a review on the Fuji FinePix F50 point and shoot camera.
I don’t own a point and shoot at present, but back in the days before my digital SLRs I used to own a Fuji F601 that I loved. I always thought I got pretty amazing blues and color and out of the Fuji.
Scott has a more recent update on Fuji’s latest entry into the point and shoot market and it sounds pretty promising. Although I’m not really a candidate for a point and shoot as my 5D goes with me literally everywhere, I know lots of other people are looking for point and shoots that they can use when they don’t want to haul their digital SLR out with them.
I don’t recall you ever discussing what sort of kit you typically carry with you, and I’d be curious to know. I often think how nice it would be to always have my camera with me, but I don’t often want to haul my regular camera bag with me, and even if I could manage to pick just one lens, I still don’t seem to find the motivation to drag it around with me that often.
Obviously, your priorities are more biased towards shooting than mine and that influences what you are and aren’t willing to carry with you. But even if it’s an apples to oranges comparison, I’d still be interested in learning about your approach(es).
