SmugBlog: Don MacAskill ? Blog Archive ? iGot iPhone Part 1: The Event Don MacAskill, CEO of SmugMug, hung out in line with us (along with about 8 other SmugMuggers) during the launch of the iPhone down at the Palo Alto store.
Don’s got a really great write up on what the experience was like for him and what it was like to be there and be a part of it.
Don and SmugMug were also the ones who graciously fed us all on Thursday night with great pizza from Pizza My Heart and bagels on Friday morning. Thanks a lot to you and your team Don!

I want to know how do you achieve that colors in your photos! 🙂
Do you use a filter?
@plur44, as far as I know, Thomas never uses any filter on any of his lenses.
Hi Plur, Yohannes is right, I don’t use any filters except some standard UV type filters from time to time. Mostly the color is a mixture of getting the temperature, contrast, and brightness at the levels that I want. Some of this is done in the camera with fine tuning done mostly when I process RAW files in Bridge.
well… I really love the effect, specially the yellow tone in all of your night shots.
