Rain in the French Quarter Hosted on ZooomrI dug into the archives a bit this past weekend and processed a bunch of old shots that I never got around to processing from my trip to New Orleans for Jazzfest earlier this year. I organized a bunch of the photos that I took from that trip into a set called The City That Care Forgot.
I was struck while in New Orleans at how much damage still is evident even a year after Hurricane Katrina. This was my first trip to New Orleans. It is indeed it’s own place. The people, the culture, the music, the food, it was like no other place I’ve ever been.
