TiVoBlog ? Blog Archive ? More On The Time Warner Series 3 TiVo Issue Now I’m not sure if this is true or not, but I’m throwing it out there and hopefully some of you can throw more light on this. The TiVoBlog is reporting that Time Warner Cable is refusing to support the Series 3 TiVos due out shortly and are unwilling to install their CableCARDs in these upcoming PVRs.
If true this is absurd and would seem to violate everything the CableCARD was supposed to represent.
Update: from the comments. A poster over at TiVo Community Forum is saying that he talked to a TWC executive who contradicted this story and told him that TWC would support the Series 3 TiVo.
