Baby it BurnsHosted on ZooomrWell Scott Beale’s post over at Laughing Squid reminded me that The Crucible’s Fire Arts Festival is this weekend. Unfortunatley I’ll miss Friday night because I’ll be at our Zooomr 2 Launch at Valleyschwag3, but I plan on going one of the other nights, hopefully. It runs Wednesday through Sunday right next to the West Oakland BART Station (I’ve got it geotagged on a Google map at Zooomr if you click through the photo above or here). The Crucible is a non profit arts education center that fosters the collaboration of art, industry and community. The Fire Arts Festival is their annual fundraiser.
I went last year and it was a blast. Literally. Here is my set of photos that I took last year at the event. If you can make it I’d definitely recommend it.
