Memes – Doing the Wave in the Blogosphere – Blog Maverick – www.blogmaverick.com _: Today I was reading my RSS reader NewGator and I came across yet another anti meme meme. My goodness, these anti meme meme things are popping up everywhere. It’s like the equivalent of doing the wave.
If you have no idea what I’m talking about, you are lucky, but you can check out Mark Cuban’s blog post on it today here.
It seems like every other day my RSS is filling up with these anti meme memes. Anti memes come in all shapes and sizes. The anti 4 Things meme is what is getting waved around the most now.
Can we all just agree that anti meme memes are pretty damn stupid. I mean first we waste time with the original meme and then we waste more time with the anti meme meme and even more time going back to the anti meme meme meme. And so on. RSS readers everywhere are being flooded, the kids are all confused and damnit no one is doing the wave anymore.
If you want to fillup a page on myspace or tagworld, anti meme meme away. But my goodness, real bloggers are writing anti meme memes? RSS feeds around the world are getting headlines with dumbass anti meme meme responses. Is this because of Bloggers Cramp? I mean come on now, what are we going to be doing next, filling up RSS readers with random words like brrreeeport?
The Anti 4 things Meme is but the latest Anti Meme floating around. We’ve also had the Friday Anti Meme, The Brother Kenya’s Paradigm Anti Meme Meme, the Where Meme’s Go to Die Meme, and so on and so on. I mean, come on, do we really need to put up with all this anti meme meme stuff. Can’t the anti meme meme just die so that we can get back to blogging about more serious matters like basketball?
What are you four favorite anti meme meme’s? Let us know. Post this anti meme meme on your blog and share your four favorite anti meme memes. For this anti meme meme I’m tagging, Robert Scoble, Dave Winer, Jeff Jarvis and Mark Cuban.
Why is everybody wasting all this time with anti meme memes when we could be doing more productive things, like, well, ummmm… hey, anyone up for a game of Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon?
P.S. Hugs and kisses Mark!
