The 100 Greatest Men of All Time

So I was reading through Digg today and I came across a story that someone had submitted about the 100 greatest men of all time. Unfortunately it was not getting much attention on Digg (only 2 diggs) so I thought I’d rewrite it but include Kevin Rose in every single category for the 100 greatest men of all time. Not sure this one will take off either but let me tell you, you’re going to do much better including Kevin Rose in your Digg story about the 100 Greatest men of all time than leaving him out. Many on Digg would take a look at the original list and take it as snub that Kevin isn’t even mentioned.

So anywho, here is the list remixed to include Kevin in each and every category of the 100 greatest men of all time. Digg this story baby!

As a reminder from the orginal site of the 100 greatest men of all time, “”Greatness” does not always mean “goodness.” Among the great men in this book are some who left a blank mark on world history. Shi Huangdi, Emperor of China in the third century BC, ruled his empire ruthlessly. Death was the only punishment for disobeying his laws. Peter the Great, Tsar of Russia, had his son tortured to death for treason… These, and others whose stories have a dark side, have been included because, for good or evil, they left their mark on the age they lived in.”

Obviously the original author of the piece has never met Kevin Rose or obviously he would not have written that.

If you mod this down on Digg I will hunt you down and make you pay.

  1. Well its cool the way that my name stands out, as if everyone should just know who I am. “I can see you not knowing who Yuri Gagarin is, but come on, Owen Byrne…” 🙂

  2. Everyone should know who you are Owen. And we of course I have Kevin’s year of birth 1977, but we still need yours. Yuri Gagarin? Never heard of him. Owen Byrne, oh yeah baby digg that.

  3. Well, i thik it wil be nice if u go back to world history, and find d man dat wl be the number one in the table of the 100 greatest mens on this earth. In circumstance, those dat u was mentioned, can be considered, but remember the prophet of ALLAH. MOHAMMAD -(peace and blessing of Allah be upon him)

  4. i am not satisfied with ur opinion about religions leaders….. the most perfect man in the history of man and the world is only the prophet Muhammed(SAW)………so correct your correction……..

  6. I think that Nikola Tesla must have his place in this list, after all I think that he is one of the greatest men ever born and lived on earth…
World would be a very different place without Nikola Tesla!

Moj narod zna tko je najveci TESLA!

  7. I have great respect to people that actually made history. However, there is a reason for existence and that is most certainly to worship God. I have highest respect to Prophets, as life would never be the same if God did not send them. I love Noah, Moses and Aaron, Abraham, Joseph, David, Solomon, Ishmael and of course the last one Mohammad Peace be upon him, his family and his followers.
A fact of life is that life has not been the same after his message.

People come and go, each with his own work and own life forming his own message and goals… Messengers carry the highest and noblest goal, directly from God, and hence, people (who come and go each with his own work and own life forming his own message and goals) change the messengers messages to fit their schemes.

  8. Hi, I personally think and firmly believe that Prophet Muhammad(Peace be upon Him) is the greatest of all the men of all times. Read his philosophy and it`s application that changed the world forever.
Followed by Him are rest of the Prophets of God who have been showing light to the world from time to time. I agree with the achievments of many great people who benefitted the mankind but greatest of all is Muhammad(PBUH)who has given the last testiment(Al_Quran) which has been preserved by God in it`s original text and form. Muhammad`s followers are more then a billion at the present time and this is on the increase and will keep on increasing as promissed by God. He has taught love, common resepect and brother hood to whole of the humanity.

  9. prophet Muhammed (PBUH) is the greatest man in this universe, bcoz each and every moment of his life is recorded and no one can prove any moment of his life is wrong.

  10. for me jangiz ( changiz khan ), the mongol conquerer, is the greatest man in the history. he started the real globalization and mixed nations together and started the wold wide trade.

  11. muhammed had 13 wives. he used to have tens of slaves and concubines. he married girls 50 or even more younger than himself. his army massacred many tribes and took their women as slaves, for example Nadir Tribe. how he is the greatest? he was a child malester and a blood drinker.

  12. reply to (lovenothate)
all what u said is completely wrong. Muhammed (peace be upon him) is the greatest of all time and this is a fact.
And just for u 2 know, when Muhammed (peace be upon him) sent an army he ordered never hurt women or children or old men and never fight or kill exept when the others do. He also sometimes forgived his enemies wishing that oneday they will belive his message

  13. reply to (lovenothate)
Mohammed only married 11 time and he didn’t have more than 4 wives. So, please don’t say if you don’t know. I study religions and I know the wise of all these marriages. All what I can see is that “Those who speak, do not know, those who know – do not speak”(Tao Te Ching)

  14. the best perfect man on earth mention by God and for me is the HOLY PROPETH MUHAMMED (S.A.W)..

  15. The best and only complete man was our prophet muhammad (s.A.W )who showed us how to live in this world with sucess all we need to do is just follow him till death.

  16. The greatest man whoever lived is Alexander the Great he is greater than muhammed jesus and so on. He was the true son of god. Also hitler should have been on this list it is not about goodness but greatness and like it or not Hitler was a great man. Nikola Tesla should have been included under inventors he was one of the greatest and under appreciated inventors of all time.

  17. I respect all religions. But Hazrat Mohammad( peace upon him) should be the first person in the greates 100 men list.Once someone knows about his life and about his behaviour so he/she will realize that Hazrat Mohammad (peace upon him) is the true and last prophet of Allah.

  18. muhammad ( peace upon him) is the greatest of all mankind. and so called christ is a total failure.he did nothing but die.saint paul is greater than him.saint paul is the founder of christianity not jessus.

  19. i thing only Prophet Muhammad(PBUH) is 1st greatest man in the world and second is jesus.

  20. prophet
    Muhammad(PBUH) is 1st
greatest man in the world . i would request everyone to study his life with neutral mind and than everyone agree that he is the greatest man.

  21. If I will reply lovenothate and maksudur rahma,
one should not say things that is ingnorance of, both of them are world ignorants of all time. All great men agreed that Prophet Muhammed and Isah (Jesus) May Peace and Blessing OF ALLAH be UPON Them are greatest men of all time including all the PROPHETS of GOD.

  22. It is amazing to me that there are so many people with so little spirituality. Of course, when people are blind, they cannot see what is directly in front of them. Muhammed, the so-called prophet, of the so-called god Allah, was only a man and with no more spiritual inclinations as a worm. The LORD JESUS CHRIST is the only way of eternal hope and blessing. Without CHRIST means everlasting damnation to all, including followers of Islam.

  23. Although I truly believe Muhammed was far from any prophet, and merely a continuation of the terror that is religion, he definately should be mentioned, and is, as one of the greatest of all time. Jesus? Well, one may easily object to the fact he even existed, as there is no documentation apart from the published gospels. Emporer Constantine should take the honour, as well as St Paul, for the birth of christianity.
Those also who deserve inclusion, are Tesla, Lenin, Hitler, and of course John F Kennedy.
But, I must admit, the inclusion of Kevin Rose and Owen Byrne in this compilation is an indication of how serious this list really is.

  25. i think that khyruden barbarosa is a great leadr of old muslims in spain he fight against english army alone at that time. he creat a navy for muslims and for thorky.
