Flickr: Explore interesting photos from the last 7 days in FlickrLand… Flickr now has a random view of interesting photos from the past 7 days. I really like it. It loads super quick and gives you nine perfectly sized photos to select from. I like this much better than the ranking system that they had before. A great way to discover new and interesting photographers!
The only modification that they should make is that if under your user ID they’ve already showed you the photo once, Flickr should somehow know this based on a cookie or something and only show you photos you haven’t seen. I’m seeing a few dupes which is no big deal but 1. It would be nice to only see photos I haven’t seen and 2. It would be nice to know when I’ve seen all of the photos that there are to see.
I think Flickr should also do one of these for random interesting photos for 2004, 2005, etc.
