JPG Magazine – Issue 2: Lost is Out

JPG Magazine – Issue 2: Lost Heather Powazek Champ and Derek Powazek are out with issue number 2 of JPG Magazine entitled “Lost.”

I’m happy that one of my photographs was chosen for this issue. This seems like a great project — turning the digital realm back into the physical realm. While photography can look beautiful on a 42″ plasma in the living room, every now and again there is something nice about sitting down and looking through a physical book full of beautiful photographs. Kind of like the old days.

“The magazine is 62 pages (ten more than last issue!), 6 inches wide, 9 inches tall, perfect-bound, 20-pound white interior paper, full-color CMYK interior ink, 100-pound white exterior paper, full-color CMYK exterior, contains 0 ads, and looks a little something like this inside. We think it’s well worth $19.99.”

The magazine can be bought here.

For those of you who have not checked out Derek and Heather before, they produce some of the most amazing photography available on the internet today. I constantly marvel and ways that they can come up with to interpret San Francisco where I live as well. They are an inspiration to the digital photographer and are certainly worth checking out.
