High-Definition TV Service Now in 10 Million Homes Says In-Stat By the end of 2005 the 10 million number is expected to grow to 15 million and 52 million in 2009. These are worldwide numbers. In the U.S. there are currently 4 million HDTV households in the United States, up from 1.6 million in March 2004. Thanks, Lost Remote!
