RandyRants.com: First Look: Comcast DVR: Randy, over at randyrants.com gives us his first impressions of one of Comcast’s new HDTV DVRs. I can’t tell whether or not Randy is using the new Microsoft/Foundation DVR or the regular Comcast HDTV DVR but either way he loves it and it is something that the folks at TiVo and Microsoft’s Media Center better play pretty close attention to.
Folks, unless TiVo and Media Center are able to offer substantial differentiation between the Comcast HDTV recorder and their own offerings, I’m afraid that a huge amount of this market share will end up with folks like Randy using the Comcast solution.
