Bloggers Shut Out of CES

Micro Persuasion: Bloggers Shut Out of CES Steve Rubel blogs about the fact that Bloggers are being shut out as representatives of the press at CES. This is really short-sighted. As the lines between journalist and blogger continue to blur organizations would be well served in taking bloggers seriously. Many bloggers today have significantly higher readership and are much stronger digital influencers than much of the mainstream press. This is bad press for CES and very poor thinking on their part. This is not to say that they should comp every Tom, Dick and Mary that have a blog these days but they should certainly consider that many of today’s blogs are much bigger than the traditional media that they may court.
