MercuryNews.com | 08/03/2004 | 321: Over and out This company made backing up your dvds much easier with their software and they have been pushed out of business by Hollywood. One thing that I really hate is buying DVDs for my kids and then finding out later that they don’t work anymore because the kids scratch them or damage them to the point where the dvd player can’t read them or can’t read them without skips etc. If Hollywood is going to shut down back up software then I think that they should also offer to send me a clean new disc for every scratched one. If what they are selling is content then they should make this their policy.
