Not sure if you have noticed, but the Flickr logo has been updated to only show the (R) from Yahoo bit on mouse over - otherwise it's nice and clean and just says Flickr :)

TranceMist, I'll probably have a post coming out on that at some point. I've been trying to interact with flickr via help mail requesting a list of all of my photos that are NIPSA'd (Not in Public Site Areas) but have been getting a similar run around via a similar amazingly incompetent string of emails myself. My case has supposedly been escalated at this point. We'll see what they come back with.

But basically Flickr has reviewed some of my photos as "safe" and has marked them as such but has flagged them so that they do not come up in search or other public areas on Flickr. They can't be added to galleries or other ways that people use images on Flickr. At least the images I've been able to uncover as NIPSA'd typically contain critical written commentary of Flickr censorship practices.

So they are essentially censoring imagery of mine objecting to their censorship. Only to my face they are labeling the photos as safe, leading me to believe that the photos are not being flagged when they have a hidden NIPSA flag on them that I or other Flickr users can't see.

Really? You should write about this!
(I don't recall seeing anything on this before)

I agree with you that it sucks being banned from the Help forum. If Flickr staff are saying that discussions of censorship aren't related to Help issues, then they need to create another Feedback forum for such discussions to take place. It's unacceptable for them to say that a forum isn't the proper venue, and then fail to provide a proper venue for customer feedback.
