I've been using Google Maps for a bit to pinpoint where I've taken pictures /visited.

One of the original reasons I started using Zooomr when you first linked to it was because of the geotagging aspect that Flickr at that point didn't have.

I always enjoy voyeuristic posts like this too.

Your idea to use Google Maps to plot the places you want to photograph is great! I've been keeping my list in a Google Spreadsheet, but maybe I'll try this method.

My toolbar is mostly down-to-business - Gmail, to-do list, Google Reader, Flickr, Zooomr, Pownce, Facebook, and Stats & administrative tools for my sites.

I love posts like this! So much fun. Right now in my toolbar is: Gmail, RWW admin, Ask.com blogsearch results page for my name (where I do blogsearch from, I just figure what the heck why start on a blank page?), Mark in Magnolia, Google Calendar, Netvibes, FriendFeed – and a handful of others I should delete when I get a chance.
