Photowalking Stanford University

Robert Scoble
and I were joined by about 30 photographers last month when we had a great opportunity to hang out and shoot Stanford University. During our shoot we shot various outdoor Rodin sculpture and had Stanford curators discuss the works. We also were able to shoot the Stanford Memorial Church where Robert and I had a great discussion about how to make various adjustments to your camera settings when shooting in challenging indoor lighting.

I also especially enjoyed shooting Andy Goldsworthy's Stone River on this photowalk. I'd shot this giant outdoor sculpture about a year back for San Francisco Magazine.

After our photowalk we had an opportunity to attend a National Geographic photography lecture where National Geographic allowed native photographers the opportunity to discuss and show their work.

Thanks to Ian Hsu at Stanford for hosting this great photowalk. To see some awesome photos from the photowalk check out the Photowalking100107 tag sorted by awesomeness on Zooomr!
