Overall this seems like it can have some fun applications. the folks at Photojojo used it to set up a dynamic slideshow with a wireless photo booth. That was really interesting.

I am looking to be able to wirelessly upload my automatically geotagged images. Thomas do you know of any GPS enabled cameras besides the Ricoh one.

Also have you tried the GiSTEQ PhotoTrackr? I got one to review and have been using it for months. While Zooomr is not listed as a supported site if I upload any photos to Zooomr after adding the GPS info through the GiSTEQ PhotoTrackr software the are automatically geotagged. It is a nice thing to have the photos geotagged automatically. So if they can be wirelessly uploaded and automatically geotagged I would be thrilled.

I linked to your post at http://flat-water.blogspot.com/2007/11/wireless-photo-uploads.html

Also only works for JPGs, so pro photogs that might want to use it as an untethered studio hook up are out of luck. And no CF version.

Ryan, we met with the eyeFi folks and plan to have Zooomr included in the future. The sticking point is Zooomr's API and an API key, neither of which are in place yet but which should be in place hopefully in the very near future.

Ah, Zooomr noticably absent. Did you decline, or were you not invited?
