I’m getting more and more into Vimeo the more I try it. The social activity that takes place there is so much more meaningful than what I see going on over at YouTube.

I completely agree. YouTube’s so oversaturated with content, it’s hard to find the really cool stuff. On Vimeo, though, almost everything is cool.
One of the reasons Vimeo is so cool is that they are obsessive about keeping the copyrighted stuff off. 99% of the stuff there is produced by the people uploading it.
In other words, the polar opposite of YouTube.
