Just a thought: The Geo tagging as it is now with zip code and latitudes isn’t useful. Most of the time, I have no idea what these are, so tagging is painful!

1) Better photo sets/albums. I just can’t figure out how to do them now, it ain’t intuitive. (Flikr’s setup is nice, but I hate the 3 set limit for non-pro (payers))

2) Ability to stay signed in easily. Seems like everytime I restart the browser I have to relog in, yet this does not happen on most of the other sites I am on.

Not at all. We love OpenID and will continue to support it as a log in choice on the site for those that want it.

We’ve been one of the few sites out there to use them for 100% of our log ons so far. We really wanted to give them a big push the best we could.

But we’ve gotten a lot of feedback at the same time that some people don’t want to use it. That they just want an “old skool” simple email/pw logon option.

So we will support both with Mark III.

Part of Zooomr Mark III will include the release of our open API.

Better location searching on the tag map, search for photo’s near lat/long, zip/postal code etc

You will be able to do this in Mark III but can do this today in Zooomr. Simply type the Zip Code in the Jump box on TagMap. Also if you type any latitude/longitude separating them by commas in the jump box that will take you there as well.

The only question I have is if there is a reason why Zooomr is so slow to load images. It happens when I at home using Comcast and also at my work when I am on a Lan connection there. So two different ISP connections that are high speed. Just seems weird. Not sure if it is because I am in Chicago and your servers are in California maybe? Just wondering if any one else in my area experiences slow load times for Zooomr. Also does not matter what browser I use. I have tested on a Windows XP machine using IE and Firefox and on a Mac OS 10.4 machine using Safari or Firefox. Just curious? Still love the site!!

Jeremy, what do you mean by that exactly. Where are you running into problems here?
