The Web 2.0 Summit. Sound the trumpets in the air. Unfortunately paying $3,000 plus to go to it is not something that I or Zooomr can really afford ($3,000 can buy a whole server man!). So instead of going to Web 2.0, you hang out around the edges of Web 2.0. You get to meet all the same people without that pesky price of admission.
So last night Kristopher and I headed over to the Ask / IAC Web 2.0 party to take some photos and say hello to a few folks. I’ve got a preliminary set of images up here. I’ve still got tons to process but had to get at least a few hours of sleep last night.
The party was divided up into two rooms. A red room and a blue rooom. I liked the blue room better because the lighting was better to shoot in — plus the blue room overlooked the Garden Court and had this great view out the window.
It was good catching up with lots of old friends and getting to know a little bit more about what Ask and IAC have been up to.
