grrrrrr... cmd-click no longer works to open a background tab using CoolIris and the new Firefox 3.6 while browsing Flickr, and CoolIris isn't supported for Chrome on a Mac yet. This sucks. I love CoolIris but why is it always such a pain in the ass to try and use it.

Suzy Sue has been one of my favorite Flickr photographers for a long time now. Like alot of my other favorites she is very prolific with almost 8,000 photos in her stream. Mostly she documents the daily life around her living in the mountains of Georgia. In addition to being a photographer, she is an artist as well and regularly creates and photographs some of her fantastic folk art.

Suzy focuses alot on the nature and mountains of Georgia, but also on the human interaction with that nature, especially where it involves decay. Her photos of old cars, abandoned homes, lost and forgotten signs, are some of my favorites of hers. She also frequently posts in a series of self portraits and photographs of her son.

Suzy has one of the most positive and optimistic spirts, she has a zest for life that comes through in her near daily updates to flickr and it's always a pleasure to take some time going through her stream.
