More Flickr Fun for Your Phone

Well Kevin Tofel blogged yesterday that it was coming and today Netomat announced a free mobile service to get Flickr to your phone. Flickr users can choose which Flickr RSS feeds to subscribe to and then show their friends the latest Flickr on their phones while checking out their other friends latest posts at the same time. Seems all Flickrlike and friendlyish. I like it. I’m going to try it out and will report back with a report.

You can sign up for the service here.

One very important disclaimer before you start racking up charges on your cell phone.

From the Neotomat FAQ: “How much does it cost to use netomat hub? netomat hub is free to use both on the Mobile Phone and the Web. However, data charges may be applied by your mobile carrier. We strongly recommend that you sign up for a data plan if you use netomat hub on your mobile phone.

NOTE: If you have an unlimited monthly internet access plan from your mobile carrier, there are no additional charges to use netomat hub on your mobile phone. Otherwise, depending on your mobile service plan, your mobile phone carrier may apply additional data charges. Check with your carrier to find out more.”

Update: Well that was quick. Doesn’t work for me as it doesn’t seem to support the Audiovox SMT5600.
