sorry, my bad. i guess i just didn’t get it. i mean, i got the parody on anti anti-meme memes (i think), just not the Hawk/Cuban integration part. i was not trying to imply you were doing anything unseemly, as the posts were obviously connected.

Just to be clear, my “Friday Anti-meme” post wasn’t a condemnation of weblog games as such. What I object to is calling them “memes,” because the term is ugly and I have philosophical objections (which the post explains) to the jargon of “memetics” (and surrounding ideas like “virtal” information, etc.).

i can’t tell what part of this post is yours and what part is Cuban’s. whole paragraphs seem to be copied, but with other sentences mixed in. is he posting here, are you posting there, or did you just leave out some quotation marks?

Argh this gives me a headache, though I’m not even convinced I completely get the “meme” concept to begin with so when you start talking about “anti meme meme” or whatever you’ve complete lost me.
