So apparently now you have to use a captcha just to log in to Digg. This is in addition to having to use a captcha to post.
The problem is that Digg’s captcha system is broken. Just tried it 20 times and could not log in and I routinely have to answer the captcha 3 times or more every time I want to post something to Digg.
Blogger had this problem a while back and it would appear that they identified known users in their database and exempted them from the captcha. I can see having new users answer a captcha but, 1. it should actually work and 2. no need to subject regular known users to captchas.
