Face it, businesses are not in business to loose money. There there to make a prfit. Just because a company wasnt going to make a profit on you and decided not to loose there hard earned money to some half bit photographer because he “made a purchase”. Your credit card wasnt charged, nothing bad happend to you. So shut the fuck up and spend some time trying to actually get some skill or style. Thomas Hawk. You raised interesting points. It would be great if there could be some officiating/monitoring body that would keep an eye on such sites. This way you don’t have to become a vigilante and do it yourself.
And I do think again that you should let it go. You’re not responsible for the entire world.
Think about how many times you yourself may have “hidden” the truth in order to save face. ( note : I’m not saying you lied.) Don’t be a sore whiny winner. Be a graceful winner. You won. Let it go now.

I can imagine what is going to happen next. These ar*&holes; will put up a hit counter on their site and use the the DoS attacks to say they have a massive number of visitors. In terms of the changing IP, they are only trying to avoid the DoS attacks. These companies should be f&*ked and burnt.

In all fairness, judging by the changing IP# of the site it looks like they did actually do some maintenance. Why they did that maintenance is a different story.

Just think it's hypocritical to tell the press that they lost "millions" of dollars in two days and that they were being attacked by hackers and then put a note up on their site lying and saying that they were doing maintenance on their site. I'm not saying they should advertise the fact that they were taken down but nor do I think they should lie about it.

Best to not address it on their website at all. It is though a little misleading to call themselves a Yahoo! "featured merchant" on their site when they've been pulled from Yahoo! shoppping.

It's not about who won here. I'm following their business because I'm interested in it and merely reporting updates as I think material things show up. Most certainly a point has been already been made.
