Davis Freeberg’s Site of the Week

This week’s winner of the site of the week contest is Mike Tyson’s Punch Out. Mike Tyson’s punch out was the first video game that I really got addicted to. The first time I played the game, I was visiting a friend and was immedietely hooked. I remember asking for a Nintendo for almost a full year before I was able to save up enough money to buy a console and a game. While the graphics are no where near the quality of Xbox 360, the game is surprising addictive. I was never able to get very far in the game, but it’s the sort of game that you enjoy whether you can beat Iron Mike or not. Every boxer has a unique weakness and had it been the age of the internet, I probably would have found a cheat sheet to work off of, but there is something to be said for trying to figure out these things on your own.

If anyone has a site or a blog that they would like to suggest, please send it to Davis *at* thomashawk.com This week’s site nominations are as follows:

Its funny playing Mike Tyson’s Punch Out now and remembering how much time that game kept me occupied back in the day. Great to throw down with Glass Joe again. Thanks for the linkage!
