There is a serious confusion going on here. I own the domain name bestpricecamera.com and I am NOT IN THE CAMERA BUSINESS at all!!!!

YOU ARE CONFUSING ME WITH BESTPRICECAMERAS.COM!!

Come on people. Don’t you know an extra letter in a domain name makes a difference?????

I’ve had similar experiences with 2 or 3 NY-based camera dealers–call to upgrade your package, but won’t ship until you buy more stuff. One of them told my wife up front that they had it in stock but would not ship it or cancel the order unless she bought some upgrades. It took 2 weeks of angry calls from me to get them to cancel, and the only reason they agreed to was that the product was pulled from the market by the manufacturer and they actually did end up with none in stock, and agreed to cancel because I didn’t want the newer model which had different features.

Take портфолио в Пензе’s advice above: unless it’s coming from BestBuy, Amazon (not Amazon affiliates), or another major retailer, DO NOT buy this stuff on the internet unless you’re prepared to get the shaft. There is a reason why it’s listed cheaper: it’s either gray market (which has actually worked out for me in the past, just no warranty or docs, but you can save hundreds for taking the risk, caveat emptor), or they are going to force you into overpriced upgrades. Period.
