Katrina Relief Auction — Prints for Sale on Flickr

UmbrellasFlickr: Katrina Relief Auction A Flickr group has been started to try and raise money for the Red Cross to benefit victims of hurricane Katrina. The idea is pretty simple. Photographers will donate prints (some framed, some not) in an auction. Bidders can bid on the prints and all of the money raised goes to the Red Cross. Nice to see people use the Flickr community for some grassroots good. Click on the link above to see all of the prints that are available for purchase.

I’ve decided to donate a print of mine for the efforts. If you’d like to bid on the an 11×17 unframed print of the above image feel free to click through to this link. The current high bid is $500.
