I have recommended your blog as part of BlogDay 2005 on my blog

  2. Well, if that’s the future of television, then television has no future in my life.

Well Bruce, it’s too bad that you’ll miss out on all the great TV, but I can understand your concerns. These privacy issues can really suck. I am however, a bit skeptical that you’ll stick with your boycott because the internet has these same issues today and apparently, you are not afraid to surf and blog the net. I figure you have two choices, you can either completely drop out of society and become a reclusive unabomber type or you can put on your tin foil hat and hope that it keeps your TV and computer free of nasty spyware and cookies that so many companies like to use. Unfortunately though, if you want to take advantage of the benefits of the internet and free tv, you’ll need to deal with ads like the rest of us.
